Amazing thai massage
Thai Massage is effective for relieving stress and helping the body to relax. Thousands of years old, Thai Massage has been well documented in how it actually helps you to improve your flexibility, joint mobility, help the blood circulatory system and assist the lymphatic system in draining.
Thai massage is a complex of various activities, including stretching, passive yoga and applying pressure to the active points. In addition, the master can use his hand or knee during the massage, stretch and bend legs and arms and do other actions. During your session, you will be able to remain fully clothed during the entire treatment. We'll work through a series of stretches and compression techniques that will help your muscles release and relax.
After receiving a Thai Massage, you may experience slight soreness for a day or two afterwards due to the muscle depth we work at. Drinking lots of water and taking an Epsom salt bath will speed recovery.
CUPPING & REflexology
Cupping: Cupping therapy is used in conjunction with massage, it can also be done alone. Cupping is generally believed to help alleviate pain, especially in the lower back and hip areas. The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite.
Reflexology: Reflexology is a treatment based on the principle that there are areas and points on the feet, hands, and ears that are connected through the nervous system to corresponding parts of the body. When pressure is applied to these areas and points it stimulates the movement of energy along the nerve channels. Different parts of the body can be treated by manipulating different parts of the foot. With over 7,000 nerve endings, the foot is suited to this sensitive manipulation.
SWEDISH/DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Swedish Massage: Our Swedish massage features soft to medium-fire pressure is used to release tension, increase blood circulation, move stagnation out, and impart a sense of overall calm. Slow, fluid, long motion is key to this! The wonderfully soothing strokes and manipulations are designed to relax muscles, relieve tension, improve the flow of blood, and stimulate the muscles to relax naturally.
Swedish/Deep Tissue: Some of our cleints want to experience the therapeutic aspects of Swedish massage, but would like his or her therapist to concentrate on certain areas with greater pressure. We offer a Swedish/deep tissue combination that delivers the benefits of our Swedish session, but also breaks the stress-tension-pain cycle by relaxing muscles. This session addresses soft tissue injuries and increases range of motion in order restore neuromuscular balance.
